Grammar is one of the more difficult parts of the English language to master. In my opinion, it is better to focus on being really good in grammar as opposed to having a catchy, comprehensible accent, although both are important.

English has a habit of breaking its own rules for seemingly no reason. There’s the rule, then there’s that word that is written a certain way, because “that’s the rule which breaks that rule” – it might seem like it makes no sense, but in English, it sure does.
