TransTips: 5 Tips to stay Fit with a Desk Job

Having a desk job is the unhealthiest job ever. Sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day can be deadly, as it forces you to be inactive most of the day, which leads to serious medical complications caused by terrible posture and very poor flexibility.

Below are 5 tips to help you stay fit if you have a desk job:

1- Drink TONS of water!

Not only will it help you curb that appetite, but you will also see yourself walking up to the restroom more often. 2 birds in one stone!

2- Daily Workouts.

Need motivation after a long day? Put on some cool workout clothes. Check out Fabletics for inspiration.

3- Park farther away and take the stairs.

Yes, these 2 tricks work!

4- Pack ahead healthy snacks.

So you don’t have to munch on crappy food.

5- Use an App to remind you to take a break from your computer.

You should be getting up and moving every 60 to 90 minutes, even if the break is as short as 3 minutes.
