National Coffee Day

National Coffee Day is observed on September 29 of every year. It is used to celebrate coffee as a beverage and to promote fair trade coffee.

In March 2014, the International Coffee Organization agreed to set the first official date for this day, and it was launched in Milan on October 1st, 2015 as part of Expo 2015, although many countries still celebrate their favorite beverage on or around September 29. (Source: Wikipedia).

On this day, many businesses offer free cups of coffee. It would be cool to actually do that in Lebanon: you walk into your favorite coffee shop to be greeted by a delicious, freshly brewed hot cuppa Joe 😀
