6 Things To Do To Become a More Positive Person

I’m all about positive vibes and I tend to block out negative energy the second it tries to get to me.

Now while I never claim to be an expert in spreading positive energy and making inspirational speeches, life has taught me a few tricks that do the job and keep my mind focused on the good things, and I’d love to share these tricks, hoping they could help someone 🙂

1- Train your mind to “snap out of it”

Remember, bad things happen to everyone, all the time. If there is something you can do about it then that’s great: get on it. If there is nothing you can do about it, acknowledge it and move on.

2- Attitude makes all the difference

Starting your day with a smile means you’re ready for all the curve-balls life will throw at you. A smile will immediately make you feel better. If you can’t get yourself to smile and you’re complaining that you have nothing to smile about, take a few minutes to remember that it’s not the end of the world.

3- I know it’s easier said than done, but…

Practice gratitude more often. Look at the glass half full. Prayer helps, too. You have no idea how many blessings you have until you start losing them. Don’t complain about what you don’t/can’t have, but rather be thankful for all the things that you do have. Remember, ambition is one thing, and ungratefulness is another.

4- Having everyday “Me Time” is a must

Before you take care of others and give love to others, you need to love and take care of yourself. Make sure to spend your much needed “me time” every single day doing what you love and enjoy. It could be a mere 30-minute walk/jog or even a quick 15-minute coffee break. Whatever lets you have a break from everything that’s going on around you. Trust me, you will come back after that break a much more positive person and you will handle all the negativity that comes your way very well.

5- Allow yourself to be vulnerable

Even the strongest people break down sometimes, and that is only human. Embracing it is good, but dwelling in it is bad. You’ve had a bad day? Go unwind in the hot tub with a glass of wine; you deserve it. Trouble with your boss? Take your stress out on a dough or something. You received some awful news? cry your eyeballs out, and then wash your face and pick yourself up. You’re here, you’re alive, you matter. It’s Ok to break down, just remember to get back up and continue to fight. Remember, it’s also very healthy to talk about it. Overthinking on your own will only collaborate to breaking you even more.

6- Get Insurance

One thing that makes many people feel and be negative is if they’re worried about stuff constantly. Their health and any costs associated with getting sick can be one of the more notable of these. Getting insurance prevents this and could be a surprising way to become a more positive person. Check out a life insurance review for Pacific Life to get started with looking around.

Good luck!
