Take Your Website to Success! Proven Strategies to Optimize Website Performance

In the past, just having a website was enough. But today, it’s a cut throat business with increased businesses having the same or similar products on the web. How can you increase your sales if you are on the second or even the fifth page of Google? You need to know how to leverage your website in order to make it stand out from the overcrowded web. In this blog post, we will discuss how to increase your website performance and drive sales to you.

Optimize Your Content for SEO

This one might sound like a beaten drum, but SEO (search engine optimization) is still one of the key ingredients to increase your website performance and to reach a wider audience. You shouldn’t stop at just optimizing your blogs, but also your product pages, category pages, and more. But how do you entice users to click on your site from as SERPs? With using keywords, optimizing your meta titles and meta descriptions. And don’t forget to get your website properly indexed by search engines – just submit an XML sitemap!

Use Social Media Strategically

You have seen influencers with followers of over thousands on any social media platform. Imagine if those thousands were brought to your website! Just copy the tried and true formula used by those influencers. Engage with your audience and share content that is related to your products, services, company ethos, etc. And don’t forget about the links back to your website! Remember this is not a once-off deal. You need to keep a constant connection with your audience or else you will fade into the back again.

Leverage Keywords

As mentioned before, keywords are one of SEO tactics. But it’s not as simple as it seems. You need to combine long-tail keywords and popular terms that relate to your products, services and website. If you are not sure what those popular terms are, use Google Trends or Ubersuggest and they will pull up what will get your page optimized.

Increase Site Speed

No one likes waiting for a web page to load, so make sure your page is performing at its optimum level. You need to check this regularly using Google PageSpeed Insights or Pingdom. But play your part by minifying CSS and JavaScript files, optimizing images, leveraging a CDN and even caching web pages.

Utilizing a Chatbot

Chatbots are among the unsung heroes in getting your conversion and increasing engagement on your site. Chatbots like Apexchat not only take the time of your hands by answering FAQ or helping purchase processes, they can give your visitors a personalized feel and make them want to come and support you more.

Implementing A/B Testing

This testing is amazing if you are not sure which versions of your site can yield more fruit. If you are stuck between different versions of your site and not sure which one will increase your traffic and sales conversion, run an A/B test on your call-to-actions, images and even your headlines. It  will tell you which will be better at optimizing your site.

If you have already started using one or two of these strategies, give the others a go too. Optimization is an ongoing exercise, especially with the ever changing landscape. What might have worked for you last year, will leave you behind if you stay stagnant. So keep on optimizing and stay current.
