March Forth on March Fourth: National Grammar Day

Today is National Grammar Day, which is celebrated on the 4th of March of every year in the United States.

I’ve previously written about it here .

It is noteworthy that according to Global Language Monitor, the estimated number of words in the English language is 1,025,109. While there is a bit of controversy over that figure, it is still safe to say  that it is over a million. (Source: www.nationaldaycalendar.com)

The best way to celebrate National Grammar Day is by making an effort to write proper English with correct grammar. Of course, the celebration would not be complete without adding the hashtag #NationalGrammarDay to your social media posts 😀

Cheers from the Grammar Police! 😀
