Brand Awareness Is Stagnating. What To Do?

Can growing your business mean that your brand becomes more visible?

The answer may be surprising: You could grow revenues even if you don’t manage to increase brand awareness. How is it possible? Ultimately, it can depend on your business type.

Example 1. If you work as an independent contractor, you could find yourself joining multiple projects as a siloed expert for other companies. While your earnings increase, you may notice that the contacts you make on the job wrongly associate you with the contractee’s brand.

Example 2. Your business has a physical venue where people can make purchases. Unfortunately, ineffective branding doesn’t affect the purchase process but only the fact that customers may not remember your brand.

So what can you do as a business to grow your brand visibility and awareness?

Get the basics right

There can be no brand without a strong digital presence. Having a great website that is engaging and user-friendly will help improve your digital reach. SEO-optimized websites are also more likely to attract organic visits and drive brand awareness naturally.

Additionally, your social media profiles must also be active. Brands that can build a follower are more likely to capture the attention.

Finally, it’s not a bad idea to reach out to a brand awareness pert, such as a PR advisor, to secure publications about your brand.

Spruce up your premises

Ultimately, if you have an office or a building, you must focus on essential brand awareness factors:

  • Keeping the brand’s name visible
  • Standing out from the crowd
  • Maintaining accessibility for all

Simple additions such as custom signs in a shared building, for instance, can ensure visitors spot and remember your brand’s name.

For premises that include a front yard, landscaping can be a fantastic way to attract and retain new clients. Indeed, landscaping a commercial property creates not only a positive impression but can also help your brand stand out from the crowd by improving visibility.

Build an expert platform

What is an expert platform? It is essentially a platform that enables you to share your expertise. Self-employed professionals often use their personal blogs to comment on current trends and share tips. However, there are many other ways to share your knowledge and build a follower.

Video tutorials, for instance, are highly popular in the tech industry. For both self-employed professionals and small businesses, tutorials on how to make the best of popular tools or how to set up IT solutions can provide a breakthrough.

Short videos designed to target a popular question in your sector can also prove effective. For instance, a marketing expert could create a short video to address common SEO queries.

Personal trainers, fitness coaches, hairdressers, and even builders can use before and after photos or short videos on TikTok or Instagram to showcase the positive results of their works.

Additionally, you can also consider presenting your blog content to publishing platforms, so you can gain visibility by capitalizing on the platform’s authority.

Showcase and promote your brand to build awareness. While lack of brand awareness may not be an obstacle for targeted revenue growth, it can make long-term survival challenging. Therefore, it’s crucial for companies and self-employed professionals to push their brands onto the market.
