It’s 2016. Such Typos should No Longer be Made!

I was in the car yesterday when I spotted this huge banner for a shop selling Converse shoes (the fake ones labeled copy AAA of course). I mean, the person who made this, didn’t they see that the word is spelled “Converse” on the shoes?

I’ll go ahead and be the devil’s advocate (that’s a first for me when it comes to grammar peeves):  Converse ends with the vowel “e”, which means, when written with a “c” it still reads as “s” and not “k”. I guess this is part of why they misspelled it. Still, LOOK IT UP, people! You’re paying money on advertising, you might as well play it smart!

Rant over, now back to work!
