September 5: Working Mothers’ Day
Back in 1982, President Ronald Reagan designated September 5 as Working Mothers’ Day, calling upon “families, individual citizens, labor and civic organizations, the media, and the business community to acknowledge the importance of the mothers who work inside or outside the home and to express appreciation for their role in American society.”
Happy Working Mothers’ Day to all the powerful and inspiring career moms out there!
It’s not always easy, and it’s definitely challenging 100% of the time, but trust and believe that we Moms do it for our children. I am pretty sure that each mother’s driving force is her children.
