Sure, long meetings and too many notifications are part of the problem, but if the usual fixes like snacks, standing desks, and a “wellness email” once a month aren’t making a dent, it might be time to look at what’s going on behind the scenes. Sometimes, it really can be things you just simply don’t know about, or no one on the team even realizes.

The lighting, the air, the constant background noise from that one humming monitor, well, none of it feels like a big deal until you realize everyone’s halfway to burnout and no one can figure out why.

Yeah, it sounds so obvious, but when people are busy, they forget the basics. Water (you might even be dehydrated right now). Decent snacks. Sitting down long enough to eat something that’s not just sugar and caffeine. It’s not groundbreaking, but it makes a difference.
But yeah, you don’t need a smoothie bar or catered lunches. Just make it easy for people to grab a glass of water and something that won’t spike their blood sugar and send them crashing by two o’clock. It’s small stuff, but it adds up fast.
